One Vascular Supports Students!

One Vascular’s Education Outreach Helps Student Healthcare Professionals

One Vascular provides work placement opportunities for students from local colleges completing Medical Office Administration diplomas and Health Information Management diplomas, as well as student ultrasound sonographers.  With real world experience, students have a chance to see the value of the education that they are receiving, and a better chance to find work once they have graduated.  This program is just one of the ways that One Vascular is committed to giving back to our community.

One Vascular works with the Canadian National Institute of Health Inc., Anderson College, and TriOS College to secure placements for the next generation of health professionals.  This allows these students to gain practical experience in their chosen fields, and to meet professionals who have worked in those fields, able to impart valuable instruction and advice.

Having this educational experience gives new Ultrasound Technicians a chance to learn technique and skills from seasoned professionals in their chosen profession.  It also gives them an opportunity to put their education to use, learning how concepts that had previously been academic apply in the real world.

One Vascular is proud to work with Anderson College to help students prepare themselves for the exciting and fast-paced world of medical imaging.  Through partnerships like this one, we are proud to have a hand in educating the next generation of medical imaging professionals.
